Hobby Progress

I started assembling the Stardrake for my Stormcast Eternal Army.  I'm liking how it is going together.  My plan is to paint it up as a Blue Dragon similar to the one's see in the art of the Dragonlance series.

I just purchased a Derdeo Dreadnought with the lascannon arms, as well as the Shadow Spectre Phoenix Lord and Exarch.

Whirlwind repainted

I recently acquired a Whirlwind for my Ravenguard army.  I did some repainting to make it match the army's scheme better.

Also trying out my new light box for taking pictures.

November Progress

Today, I finished painting and assembling the Land Speeder and Vanguard Veteran squad from the Shadow Force Solaq set.

Independent Character's HPC - November Commitment

For November, I'm assembling and painting the models from the new Shadow Force Solaq box.  I've started with the Land Speeder.  These models were by the start of my Ravenguard force.

Grey Knights

Here is a group of Grey Knights that I've recently completed.  I used the Grey Knight Terminator kit and the Deathwing Kit to build these guys.

Working on bases

Here is what I've been doing on the bases for my Blood Angels.

First I use GW's Astrogranite texture paint to great a rocky appearance on the bases.

Next, I add a layer of Martian Red earth to the base.

I occasionally add a layer of a color before adding the Martian Red Earth to show through the cracks when the crackle style paint drys.
